Missed Opportunities in Comprehensive Response to Sexual Assaults in Ekiti State, Nigeria

Sexual assault referral centres were designed to provide comprehensive services survivors mitigate the physical and psychological consequences of rape. However, some who reported at these did not benefit fully from these, thereby presenting as missed opportunities. We assessed opportunities among Ekiti Assault Referral Centre, Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria June 2020 2022. Data extracted records Ado-Ekiti Department Public Prosecution State Ministry Justice, Ado-Ekiti. The for post-exposure prophylaxis HIV, emergency contraception, economic empowerment relocation/shelter 62.2%, 35.9%, 42.3% 4.3% respectively. There 18 convictions out 21 concluded cases.
